This series of 23 richly illustrated volumes, following the chronology of Hergé's work, reveals the creation of The Adventures of Tintin and offers a panorama of Hergé's universe. Each volume is dedicated to an album and contains reproductions of original draws, unpublished archives analyzed by the author, Philippe Goddin. 112 pages. Tintin au pays des soviets (T1). French.
Philippe Goddin has already signed the works Hergé, Tintin et les Soviets (2016) and Les Tribulations de Tintin au Congo (2018). He now offers us a journey of discovery to the heart of America and the creation of Hergé, which we are tracking even in the adaptation of his story for a Flemish daily Het Laatste Nieuws (1941-42). The unpublished and very personal letters sent from the United States during his two great voyages in search of the Indians bear witness to his great interest in the people he sought to defend.
